PRIVACY / MEMBER vs. GUEST VIEWABILITY PLAN

So, it was brought to my attention today that some people are curious as to the plans for forum visibility going forward:
Membership on Tarotsphere is free.
As of right now, many are migrating out of AT and on to this forum (or others), with new layouts, and new software. To some, that is a struggle. Change is often hard, and if you're not technologically inclined, it's even harder.
Because of this, I've had all areas of this forum visible to all. Members and Guests alike.
I just want to make sure everyone has a smooth transition and a chance to discover what an awesome community we've built.
The exchange boards are visible to non-members but you have to be a member and signed in to start a thread, post, etc. If memory serves, the marketplace forums are also visible, but you need to be a member to post.
Guests can see everything post in almost all areas as guests. I've had some ATers use that feature to help with signing up / logging in problems.
As soon as the mass exodus is over and everyone is settled, I'll revisit guest permissions, including making the exchange boards (and some others) completely members only. This will likely be done July 31st.
Again, membership here will remain free. I do not plan on adding subscriber content.
