Hi, this is shaping up to be a lovely forum - but I'm having a really hard time reading topic titles, links and navigation buttons because of the low contrast between the white background and the orange font color. I need to use a magnifying glass to read anything but posts. If this is just me, no big deal (I'm 67 with poor vision). Just wondered if there might be a way to address that issue.

Hi, just wanted to add my support for the forum. It's really looking great, but I'm struggling with the visuals as well. Is it possible to add some themes from which the user can choose to customize their experience? I have no idea what is involved in adding themes to the site, so I apologise in advance if it's a lot of extra work for you, or perhaps not feasible at this time. Thank you so much for all of your hard work! |

It would help me a great deal if all of the text fonts (not just the font for posts) were black or some other dark color, as orange against white on the forum index, usernames and Shoutbox is hard for me to read without my magnifying glass - not enough contrast. The posting font size is also very small and hard for me to see. I agree with Venus Rising that alternative forum themes/skins might be a help in those areas.
I'm not trying to make a special case or a big deal out of my own issues - most members probably have younger eyes and better vision. But if options existed to help visually challenged and/or older members, it would be a great boon. I know your hands are full with things to do, Holly, this is just something to maybe consider as the forum evolves.

I so appreciate your taking the time to deal with this, especially considering how much else is on your plate. Edited to add: The more I look at it, the better it gets - love the purple, very soothing to my eyes. |

I liked the orange, but have to agree that it was low contrast, though it didn't give me any issues. Love the purple though! Now we need a really cool cover photo! Something that says "Tarotsphere"! Thank you for putting this together, Holly! I know I haven't been very active yet, but I'm adjusting to a new schedule and trying to get my day organized to have time to play more with others.
