I'm Sunish Chabba and live in Doncaster Australia. I'm a playing cards researcher, collector and producer. I've already produced and fulfilled 2 limited edition playing card decks on Kickstarter which are "sold out". Bharata Tarot is my first foray into tarot world and I am very happy to share it with you all. Influenced by RWS, it takes symbolism and mysticism from Indian folk arts.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me for any question and I welcome any suggestions and advice as well.
Just FYI, I've just posted an update on Kickstarter where I've announced a few addons like custom metallic coin, 100% handcrafted and handpainted tarot deck (one of its kind in the world), handcrafted playing card deck & more importantly, the tarot expansion pack (which is complete Major Arcana and 4 extra cards) available as a standalone reward tier for US$14.
Please check out the project here and let me know for any question.
Just a quick update here that addons (except handcrafted decks) have been shipped to backers and tracking numbers sent to each backer individually.
The 26-page booklet (a well kept secret and now a gift for Kickstarter backers) is in queue for printing. On another note, backers of original Bharata deck have started receiving the handcrafted deck & the collector's box with one of them to display the handcrafted deck as a highlight in an exhibition in US.
Bharata tarot deck is available for pre-order at the given link below. Get one of the most exquisitely designed decks with highest quality card stock, foiling, embossing & gold-gilded edges accompanied by a 26-page booklet. You'll cherish this deck for the years to come.
Worldwide shipping of USD $6 is included in the price and deck will be packaged in multiple bubble wraps so that they arrive safe & secure to your doorstep. Check shipping & fulfillment feedback for my previous decks (now sold out) here:
Here is a deck review from a cardist having no idea of tarot cards. I'd sent him a deck as this deck has my new experimental finish known as "Ornate" and a cardist is the one who can give feedback and suggestions on card handling as well as finish. The intent is to use same finish on my custom playing cards decks going forward. If you've seen decks from USPCC, you must have heard of finish names like linen, air cushion, master, classic etc.
Anyways, here is his review
It is a fun video, don't take it seriously. Enjoy!!!

I received mine today and it's beautiful! Thank you so much Sunish
The extra wonderful thing is it includes the four Pages and is standard poker size... so you can literally combine it with any standard poker deck.
Of course it would be fabulous if there was a playing card deck with matching backs down the line but for now, I've combined it with the Absinthe playing cards by Ellusionist. The black backgrounds of the pips make the Bharata's colours pop in such a yummy way.

HOLMES: what did you use,, the living the tarot book , was it a course or a self goal ?

wildrosespeonies: Self goal. I don't have time to sign up for actual card studies class even though I know many places offer them online. I use the guidebooks that come with the deck(s) for reference when I can't recall a card.

wildrosespeonies: Also, I think guidebooks are underrated. They can put more detail into the illustrations and some of them are pure poetry. (Mesquite and Pagan Otherworlds being my favorite guidebooks for that reason -- language is amazingly used)

HOLMES: a book written for the deck can be excellent if it adds , the tarot of the elves talked about the story behind the minors, one was really sad.. the hudes guidebook , and robin wood was awesome .

wildrosespeonies: Ooh, Marigold Tarot's print guidebook is finally coming along. I think I'm gonna pass on the pouch though. That box is very sturdy.

wildrosespeonies: My local witchy store is closing so I bought supplies from there today. They will last a good while before I have to turn to etsy again.

wildrosespeonies: Wow. I just discovered a tarot maker on kickstarter who blantantly stole another tarot maker's art. (The art is the art back of Sinking Wasteland.) I have let SW creator know. But wow! Can't believe that.
Jun 21, 2019 5:46:41 GMT
wildrosespeonies: The artist contacted the KS tarot card maker and they replaced the image, but I'm pretty sure the new image is stolen too. It looks familiar, but I don't recognize where the image come from.

auroralara: forum.tarotsphere.net The “force” behind tarot reading is always down to the reader. The “reader” being the mechanism by which tarot is interpreted is inevitably a human being or more. Humans being the creators of symbols and symbolism such as that
