Hello everyone! I’m new to this forum. I’ve been studying and reading tarot cards for about a year and a half now, I give family members and friends readings which they seem to enjoy a lot. I don’t really read for myself unless I have burning questions. Recently, I began getting into the practices of Wicca, Santeria, and Hoodoo. I made a honey jar spell with a petition that was very specific and put some crystals, herbs, and other things into the jar covered in honey. I did this about a month and a half ago and I recently asked my tarot cards the question of: “Is my honey jar spell work working?” And all upright, for a three card spread, I got the Nine of Cups, The Moon, and The Sun. The Moon and The Sun were interesting contrasts. Does anyone know how I should interpret this? I would appreciate any view or opinion
The way you worded the question implies that you're seeking a yes/no answer. For those types of questions I always use a yes/no spread. My favorite yes/no spread uses 6 cards. Miss Moonstone explains it well in her video, Simple Yes/No Tarot Spread (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJFYj_akbg4):
1. Draw six cards. Ignore all Major Arcana cards except Sun and Moon. 2. Wands, Cups = Yes; Swords, Pentacles = No. Whichever (yes/no) there are more of is the answer to the question. 3. If Sun is one of the cards, ignore everything else. Answer is YES. If Moon is one of the cards, ignore everything else. Answer is NO. 4. In the event of a tie following Step #2, draw another card; if it is a major arcana (excluding Sun or Moon), ignore it, and draw another until a Minor card turns up.

wildrosespeonies: Wow. I just discovered a tarot maker on kickstarter who blantantly stole another tarot maker's art. (The art is the art back of Sinking Wasteland.) I have let SW creator know. But wow! Can't believe that.

wildrosespeonies: The artist contacted the KS tarot card maker and they replaced the image, but I'm pretty sure the new image is stolen too. It looks familiar, but I don't recognize where the image come from.

TeaAndTarot: Where would be the best place to start a deck study thread? The Wooden Tarot is on its way and I’d like to post my thoughts here for posterity.

wildrosespeonies: TeaAndTarot. Probably the Tarot Deck Discussion would be the best place, as you are just studying one specific deck. But make sure to check the whole thread as there might already be a Wooden Tarot thread already.

aeon418: Seeing as this place is essentially a "zombie forum", spammer-clogged threads are the way of the future I'm afraid.
